Spontaneous trip to Greenville

So, yesterday morning Eric asks Ethan (Sam's at my parent's) if he would like to go to a football game. I'm thinking, what football game??? Then, I realize that he's talking about going to Greenville, IL to watch Greenville vs. Taylor. Greenville is where Eric Hehman is headcoach, and Eric wanted to go see the game....we just hadn't talked about it. So, we get Eric & Ethan ready to go and they are pulling out of the garage when Eric decides that Eliza & I should go also - mind you, we're still in our PJs and I need a shower. Nonetheless, we get ready in a hurry (no time for a shower!) and are out the door for our 3 1/2 hours in the car to watch a football game. Kinda crazy, but we had LOTS of fun!!!! Mike & Traci were also there, so all the kids played together.

Since we're going to support Eric H., we dressed the kids in orange and we even cheered for Greenville! Unfortunately, Taylor won at the last minute. A big bummer for Coach Hehman!!!

Here's Liz in the last minutes of the game....a slightly stressed wife of the coach! Too cute!!!
