We had a big day with 2 outings.
At one week old, Caroline got to meet Dr. House. (Yes, our family doctor's name really is Dr. House! Everyone asks that question.) He's been our doctor since before Sam was born, and we just love him. He's so great with our kids!! (And, he wanted to know where to find my blog, so I have to say this in case he is reading it! But, seriously, we do love him!!! Even though he went to Anderson University!)
Caroline weighed 6 lbs 12 ozs, so not up to her birth weight just yet. Everything checked out great. She does have a small belly button hernia, but nothing serious.
Then, this evening we went to meet Brooke Anita. It will be fun for Beth & I to raise these girls together. Caroline & Brooke are sure to be friends!

Sweet Caroline
...bomp, bomp, bomp
Are you singing the song yet? :)
Okay, so I'm FINALLY blogging about our baby #4 that is already 1 week old today. She didn't have a name for the first 48 hours of her life, so we called her "Lashes" because of her beautiful and very long eyelashes. Then, we decided on Caroline Louise - Caroline because we love it and Louise is my Grandma Mary's middle name.

Here are the stats - Born at 8:21 am on Friday, May 23rd, 7 pounds 1 ounce, and 19 3/4 inches long. (Ironically, she weighed the same as Ethan!)
Sam, Ethan, & Eliza are all so great with Caroline!!! It's rather cute! Of course, they also are learning not to swing her to hard and that we need to be very gentle. But, Caroline is definitely part of our family already - like she always belonged. Like one friend said - Two boys, two girls, too perfect!

just the 5 of us
Today is my last day to ever be pregnant - I'm find myself being both sad and happy about that idea. Tomorrow the newest Uliczny joins our company, and the dynamics of our family will be changing. It's very exciting and scary all at the same time! To think that Eric & I will be responsible for yet another human is just crazy!!! But, God is good and will guide us through!
Here are a few pictures of us from this spring...
We'll try to post the news and a picture tomorrow afternoon.

Girls Night Out...
in my honor!
Monday night our original playgroup girls (minus Alison) got together to throw me a little baby shower of sorts. Mel took pictures and posted them on her blog, so you'll have to look there. We had it at Beth D.'s big purple house, a very fun and relaxing night!!! These are girls that I see, but never seem to have the chance to talk to anymore. It seems like so long ago when were together once a week no matter what!

Mother's Day 2008
On Thursday I went to a Mother's Day program at Sam's preschool. I tried to post a little video of them singing a silly song, but it just didn't work for some reason. So, here's a picture instead. Then, on Sunday we went to my parent's house for a fun day. (Well, Eric & I took a detour to the hospital first because the baby hadn't been moving, but everything is great now! They just wanted me to come in just to make sure. Uncle Ben took the kids, which gave us a little break...so it wasn't so bad.)
Here's Ethan & Eliza "watering" Grammy's flowers...in the rain mind you! :)

New Ride
With rising gas prices and the push for Americans to go ‘Green’, the Uliczny family has decided to do there part and switch to a new mode of transportation. We may have to modify it at first for the newest member, but I think it will work. Our Sunday trips to Grammy and Pappy's will take a little more planning. It will be slow at first but as soon as the kids start to build those leg muscles I think we will be able to move at a pretty good clip.

Yay for May!!!!!
I always enjoy the arrival of May, and can't wait to get to Handel's. Their Handel's Pop flavor of the month is strawberry, and I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!!! The chocolate they use is imported, and is simply decadent! They have a different flavor every month, and although I enjoy almost all of them I'm partial to the strawberry. I just enjoyed one, and was little sad when it was all gone. Is that bad? (And, I took a picture of it so that I could blog about it...now that's love!)
